The Fox-42 Precision rifle is very promising but as of SHOT Show this year exists only in concept form. The gun actually has its roots started several years ago by the MagPul Massoud .308 rifle. Kinetic Research Group headed by Justin Juarez, a former employee of MagPul, says that he thinks he can have a working gun maybe within a year. The first model of the rifle will be the Precision rifle with maybe a carbine to follow. The Fox-42 will share several features with what is now the Bushmaster ACR rifle. For instance the stocks and forearms will interchange. The gun will have a machined aluminum lower receiver, stock with adjustable cheek height ans length of pull and ambidextrous fire controls. It will naturally be made to accept.308 PMAGS. Keep up with future developments at www.krg-ops.com.

AR-15 owners can now rejoice as there is another new magazine to fit their guns. But this magazine differs in a much different way. It is capable of firing at least 6 different calibers from the same magazine. This magazine, called the Unimag™ will feed and function with 5.56, 300 Blackout, 7.62 X 39, 5.45 X 39, 6.8 SPC and 6.5 Grendel all from this single magazine without any modifications. The magazine owes it’s effectiveness to what is called a “controller tilt follower. The follower is an anti-tilt style with a pivoting cartridge that will accept and feed all of the above listed cartridges. Imagine grabbing one magazine and it being about to works in six different AR-platform rifles. Ross and Zheng Engineering proved that this is not an idle claim by letting a host of writers and other industry people fire guns in all calibers with this single magazine at a private get together one evening after the SHOT Show. This writer was included and believe this magazine works. For more information and ordering instructions contact them at www.rosszhengengineering.com.
